I grew up in the small town of Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan but always had a dream of moving out to the Okanagan! The outdoors and active lifestyle of Kelowna is what attracted me to officially call this place home. I was always involved with sports growing up but took a more serious interest in hockey from a young age. This led me to move away from home in High School to play AAA hockey and eventually to Calgary where I played college hockey at SAIT. Over the years, I experienced several sport-related injuries that Chiropractic care was able to treat and resolve. I realized the whole-body benefits of chiropractic treatment, which ultimately drove me to pursue this career and help others.

I have a background in rehab, as I received my Physical/Occupational Therapy Assistant Diploma from SAIT in 2016. From there, I continued my studies at the University of Calgary where I received my degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. I then went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota where I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic, in 2023. While in Chiropractic school, I took additional courses such as Taping, Advanced Upper and Lower Extremities, Concussion Baseline Testing as well as many others to graduate with a Sports and Rehabilitation Emphasis. I am FAKTR certified (Functional and Kinetic treatment with rehab) and also incorporate soft tissue techniques along with manipulation and mobilization into treatments.

When I am not in the clinic I like to spend my time hiking, golfing, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and of course checking out the local wineries/breweries. I know how important it is to live an active lifestyle so it is my goal to get you back to the activities you enjoy most.

I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Kinesiology/Biology) at the University of Victoria in 2002, and then completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2006 (graduating Cum Laude).

A desire to live overseas quickly landed me in Perth, Australia where I worked as a chiropractor for nine years. I was fortunate to gain a significant amount of experience treating patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal health conditions such as back and neck pain, headaches, and sports injuries. With a passion for teaching, I also spent 6 years as a clinical supervisor at Murdoch University teaching diagnostic and manual therapy skills to chiropractic students.

In 2016, I completed a Master of Science in Pain Management from the University of Sydney, Australia as well as the diplomate program in the Canadian Academy of Pain Management. With these qualifications, I am able to more thoroughly evaluate and manage patients with both acute and chronic pain.

My approach to chiropractic care emphasizes thorough evaluation and care that is evidence-informed and patient-centered. Some people prefer getting their spine ‘cracked’, while others want help with a more gentle approach. I provide either or both, and discuss with you what would be best and in line with your preferences. I have completed the ART® and Graston® courses, and use pain science education and rehabilitation to help you feel better as soon as possible.

Outside of the clinic, I keep busy with family life, coaching youth hockey and baseball, and participating in trail running, golf, and racquet sports. Should you have any questions regarding how chiropractic can be helpful for you, please feel free to contact me at the clinic.

Being from the West Kootenays, I had visited Kelowna many times throughout my life, so when it came time to choose a city to settle in Kelowna was an easy choice. I have always been an active individual taking part in hockey and competitive golf growing up. This led me to become interested in pursuing a career in the health care field with a specific interest in sports injuries. Watching my father, who was a ten-time Ironman competitor, being kept in top physical condition by his chiropractor I realized how much I could help enhance and maintain not only people’s athletic ability, but also their everyday quality of life by becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and went on to attend Chiropractic School at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating with honors. During my time in school, I recognized the benefits of incorporating soft tissue techniques to compliment traditional chiropractic care, specifically the Graston Technique® and Active Release Techniques® (ART). Since then I have taken continuing education courses in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) which helps break down faulty movement patterns leading to a more accurate diagnosis, as well as Function Range Release (FR), another effective soft tissue treatment. I have also been fortunate to have spent time being the Chiropractor for the Okanagan Sun Football team, further increasing my knowledge of sport related injuries and their treatment/rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic of you can find me on the golf course, any of the local ski hills in the winter time or doing my most recent passion, trail running on the many amazing trails around Kelowna. Please feel free to reach out and I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your optimal level of health and fitness!

Born and raised in Kelowna, BC. My journey into the field of Acupuncture all began when I started working as a receptionist at Active Living in 2019. Working at the front desk, I saw firsthand the positive impact all our amazing practitioners had on their patients’ lives. This, along with my own curiosity about Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine is what initially inspired me to pursue Acupuncture as my own career.

I graduated from Pacific Rim College with honors in 2023 and have been registered with the CTCMA – BC’s regulatory body for acupuncture—since 2024.

My training encompasses both Traditional and MSK (musculoskeletal) Acupuncture techniques plus adjunctive therapies such as cupping and gua sha, allowing me to address a wide range of health concerns. I strive to deliver holistic and individualized care that aligns with your unique needs and goals.

Acupuncture operates on the principle of stimulating specific points along meridian pathways to optimize the flow of Qi (aka circulation/ blood flow and the electric signals from the nervous system) in the body. This not only addresses MSK discomfort but also can have positive effects on digestion, endocrine function, sleep, and emotional equilibrium, fostering a holistic approach to wellness.

I look forward to partnering with you on your health and wellness journey.

Growing up in Kelowna, B.C., my passion for healthy living and exercise blossomed early, fueled by a love for basketball and football. Having sustained my fair share of injuries playing these competitive sports, I experienced firsthand the effectiveness of manual therapy in rehabilitation. This ignited a fascination with anatomy and the human body’s complexities, leading me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics at UBC Okanagan.

Driven by a desire for continuous learning, I furthered my education at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy (OVCMT), graduating in 2023. Here, I delved deeper into the intricacies of the musculoskeletal system, neuroanatomy, and clinical theory. OVCMT’s clinical program also provided exceptional hands-on experience treating diverse patients with various health conditions, preparing me well for a fulfilling career as an RMT.

As a therapist, I am committed to high-quality, patient-centred care. Through comprehensive assessment, I aim to create treatment plans tailored to each individual that emphasize optimal movement, remedial stretching and strengthening, and appropriate activity modifications, to assist patients in achieving their wellness goals. Ultimately, ensuring patients leave the clinic feeling educated, supported, and empowered to be active participants in their recovery is of the utmost importance to me.

Outside the clinic, I thrive on staying active, immersing myself in the great outdoors, indulging in whatever piques my interest (currently, the ins and outs of triathlon) and passionately cheering on my favourite sports teams (Go Eagles!).

I have always been fascinated by how our bodies are created and the intricate way all the different systems work today. Having grown up playing a number of sports I saw first hand the benefits of physical therapy. Through this interest and an understanding of the need for skilled therapists I was drawn to my chosen studies.

I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, in Sports Therapy at the University of Kent at Medway.

I am qualified in Sports Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Dynamic Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Laser Therapy, Onsen Therapy and Relaxation Massage. I have over 16 years’ experience in the industry, and I have a passion to see people perform at their optimal level.

After my wife and I immigrated to Canada and settled in Calgary I became a Registered Massage Therapist with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA). I worked in Calgary at a busy and successful clinic specializing in pain and tissue rehabilitation. Whilst working there I trained in Laser Therapy and became certified in Onsen Therapy. This is a highly effective series of techniques that combines manual osteopathy and massage to assess and correct structural and functional deviations, to provide long term pain relief.

I also worked at several clinics in the Bow Valley offering various massage modalities to locals and tourists alike. I find great satisfaction in tailoring my appointments to meet the needs of a variety of clients, from Olympic athletes to retirees. It is highly rewarding to assist clients in getting back to their full health so they can continue to pursue their passions.

Since moving to beautiful Kelowna I continue to maintain my CMMOTA registration. I will be taking the B.C. board exams later this year, so that I will be able to direct bill to extended health care benefits as I did in Alberta. Until then I will be offering massage at a discounted rate, to those who have no benefits or those who have run out of coverage. I look forward to working with you to help you reach your health and wellness goals!

I grew up in a small town in Ontario where I enjoyed an active lifestyle playing hockey and any other sport that didn’t conflict with the season. Ultimately, it was when injuries left me sidelined that I discovered a passion for anatomy through my rehabilitation. With the combination of the care I received in treatment, the work I put in, and witnessing my body’s own innate ability to heal, I was inspired to change my career path entirely to support others on their journey to wellness.

I graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy where I was able to gain invaluable experience treating a variety of conditions across a diverse group of clients. I believe that movement is essential to maintaining optimal tissue health and function, and empower my clients to take an active role in their treatment. I’ve seen great benefits to incorporating movement during massage in conjunction with a blended approach of neuromuscular therapy, myofascial and trigger point work.

As an RMT, my mission is to provide a customized treatment plan that supports clients on their unique wellness journey as they recover, maintain, and thrive while doing the activities they love most.

Outside of work I enjoy getting outdoors and staying active with my family. As a lifelong learner, I look forward to continuing my education and strengthening my offerings within this practice.

Growing up in Kelowna, BC. , I spent most of my time playing a wide variety of competitive sports, primarily focused on track and field. Since childhood, I have always had a passion for human anatomy and supporting people in their journey to well-being. I would spend time with my mom, who is a nurse, asking her countless questions about physiology and her experiences with people in the healthcare field. Still just as inquisitive, I am highly motivated to continually learn and utilize my knowledge to the best of my ability to support patients with their unique goals.

Since being introduced to the manual therapies, both as a patient, and now practitioner, my mind has been opened to the world of preventative, and rehabilitative health. With this, I have begun to truly understand the importance of muscle balance and movement. As an RMT, my belief is that assessment, patient education and empowerment are essential when it comes to providing individuals with the best possible treatment outcomes.

Outside of Massage Therapy, I love spending time outdoors, adventuring off to the ocean as frequently as possible. I am still very active, and also enjoy the challenges of high intensity workouts such as Spin Cycle, HIIT and strength training!
